From chapter ten, i have learned a lot about circles. In circles you have many lines such as a chord, a radius, and a diameter. To find the perimeter angle measures and line lengths there are many formulas. Many new items such as tangents, secants, arcs, inscribed, and circumscribed circles have been introduced.
Architects may use this to figure out how much space they have in a room, especially if the room is in a circular shape.
I am unaware of the difference between a secant and a inscribed circle.
Hey Shannon! Okay, a secant is a line that intersects a circle in two points,no more and no less. As for the second part of your question,an inscribed circle is a circle inscribed(inside) of a polygon. It is inscribed if it is tangent to each side of the polygon. I hope this helped!:)
